My photographic collection covers a continuing thread of capturing my everyday life through moments I find poetic, and through the process of curation, creating an ongoing story of finding myself and showing an inner search for the next step. As I have new experiences and create new memories with the people in my life I care about, I document moments I find visually compelling. With the inclusion of signs of the urban and pedestrian everyday landscape interweaved with natural elements, I am both capturing my changing environment but also commenting on my own transit through my life and my shifting professional and collegiate landscape. Inclusions of passing cars and ripples in a creek create a feeling of transition, time passing, and an air of melancholy and self-discovery.
